Assoc. Prof. Mehti Şalvız

Biography

Assoc. Prof. Mehti Şalvız graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and completed his otorhinolaryngology residency at the same faculty between 2001 and 2006. He then spent a year as a research fellow at Harvard University's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary on a TÜBİTAK international research scholarship.

After returning to Turkey in 2013 he worked at Haseki Training and Research Hospital and Yeni Yüzyıl University Gaziosmanpaşa Hospital, and was appointed associate professor of otorhinolaryngology in 2016. He has practised in his own clinic since 2021.

In face and neck aesthetic surgery he performs deep plane facelift, neck lift and endoscopic facial rejuvenation, with a particular interest in minimally invasive approaches such as cat eye surgery, endoscopic canthoplasty, endoscopic brow lift and endoscopic midface lift. At Facelift Academy Istanbul he leads the sessions on endoscopic lifting anatomy, brow lift indications, periorbital combinations and live preoperative marking, and operates in the endoscopic live-surgery segments of the courses.
